T’ai Chi and Qigong
Move slowly. Notice more.
Movement offers another way into the same attentive practice: softness, balance, breath, and time to feel the body you live in.

Softness and awareness.
T’ai Chi Chuan, also written Tai Chi, Tai Ji, or Taijiquan, is a movement practice and martial art. Judith’s teaching emphasizes softness and awareness rather than force and resistance.
Practice at a slow and even pace makes room to notice posture, balance, and the relationship between the body and the mind. Repetition gives these ideas time to become familiar through experience.
Standing, walking, and shifting.
Judith’s earlier classes included Roots & Branches Five Element Qigong, using standing positions, walking, and shifting movements. Breath and attention accompany the movement.
Her teaching welcomes curiosity about practice, whether you are beginning or returning. The current Walking Tree Wisdom series offers a way to continue exploring Qigong together.
