Wisdom journal
Learning from experience.
Selected reflections from Judith’s earlier writing: paying attention, making room for stories, and sharing what a lifetime of practice can teach.
The teaching comes from within.
Judith called an earlier collection of stories Wordless Teachings. The title expressed a discovery: after a certain point in practice, learning comes from inside you and from your own experience.
That interest in lived experience continues through her teaching, her book, and her performances. Stories and theatre exercises invite the imagination to take part in learning alongside facts and technique.
Breathe.
In a short note on her earlier website, Judith invited readers to turn attention toward breathing and the feeling of it in the body. The invitation was simple: notice the experience itself.
Her accompanying video offers a practical way to explore that attention.
Watch BreatheInspire Yourself: Volunteer!
Judith’s essay about volunteering at The Haven follows an idea from a faculty conversation into years of community involvement. It considers what it means to offer time and attention to the people who care for others.

These selections reconnect writing from Judith’s earlier website. The former Blogger journal is no longer available; this is a selection of recovered material, not a complete copy of that journal.
