The most important part of this demonstration is how lightly I use my hands. Deeper pressure may feel good, but it is not what I’m showing here.
Three movements to watch
I begin near the outer edges of the shoulders and move lightly over the collarbones toward the small hollow at the center. Next I show the movement from behind the ears. The final pass begins behind the head and comes down toward the same central point.
I repeat each movement five times in the video. The pace is easy, and the contact stays light throughout. Use the demonstration to see the direction and the amount of movement rather than trying to work from the words alone.
Pay attention to how it feels
I made this video to share a practice I have found helpful when I feel congested, including when traveling. The emphasis is on a comfortable, gentle experience. More pressure is not the goal.
If you want to explore another way of noticing your body through touch, the tapping video ends with a quiet pause to feel what has changed.
This is an educational demonstration, not treatment for a sinus infection, headache or lymphatic condition. Ask your healthcare professional whether this practice is appropriate for you, especially if you have pain, swelling or a diagnosed condition.
