I’ve been a professional bodyworker since 1976. These videos are a way to share some of the simple things I use myself and teach to the people I work with.
Common sense belongs in bodywork
I practice and teach Zero Balancing, Craniosacral Therapy and movement. I also try to teach common sense. In this introduction, I explain why conventional and complementary care both have a place in the way I think about the body.
The videos in this collection range from a brief, light-touch exercise to demonstrations for trained bodyworkers. You can choose the ones that fit your interests and experience.
A little more awareness
My work is about helping people become more aware of their bodies. Breathing, movement and touch give us different ways to pay attention. An exercise doesn’t have to be complicated to give you something worth noticing.
If you’re new to the collection, the breathing video and temporal slide are short introductions to this kind of attention.
These videos are for education and body awareness. Bodywork does not replace medical care. Stay within a comfortable range and stop if a movement or touch hurts.
Notes adapted from Judith’s spoken demonstration. Watch the video for the full explanation.
